Development and sustainability of a warning application to prevent thermal discomfort

Within Activity 5.1, Uni.lu participates in the development and improvement of the warning application for mobile devices. The app provides warnings related to overheating risks and recommends practical measures such as ventilation, shading, or hydration strategies to support the well-being of vulnerable populations.

Within Activity 5.2, Uni.lu contributes to ensuring the sustainability of the application. This includes software maintenance and improvement, analysis of user feedback, and support for dissemination activities. In addition, Uni.lu contributes to organizing information events for health authorities in the Greater Region and to the preparation of a business plan exploring the possibility of launching the application as a marketable product, potentially through a spin-off, while respecting the intellectual property rights of all partners involved.
