Work Packages 5: Development and sustainability of a warning application to prevent thermal discomfort

The University of Luxembourg contributes to the development and sustainability of the warning application designed to inform vulnerable groups and caregivers to avoid thermal discomfort conditions. The mobile application processes real-world data collected on-site and, based on algorithms developed within the project, identifies potentially thermal discomfort conditions in real time. When critical thresholds are detected, the system generates alerts and suggests short- and long-term mitigation measures. more
